Come enjoy a weekend in Galveston as Island etc (east end theatre company), will be presenting Assassins, written by Stephen Sonheim and John Weidman. This musical is based on an idea by Charles Gilbert Jr. It is centered on the premise of a murderous carnival game to produce a vaudeville-style portrayal of men and women who tried to assassinate Presidents of the United States. The music varies to replicate the eras represented through out the show. The Broadway revival of this show won five 2004 Tony Awards. Island etc is located at 2001 Postoffice.
